New Logo, Blog and Print Design: Southern Soiree

I am so excited to introduce you to my friends at Southern Soiree!  They offer fabulous wedding and party services throughout Alabama.

Casey wanted a bright and colorful blogspot to match her vibrant family and sweet girls.

The first step in a design from GOC is your very own pinterest board. Hers features loads of primary colors with a twist. I incorporated fonts and flourishes that were later added into her final design. Want to learn more about blog design?

Create an iPhone or iPod icon

Wanna create your own iPhone icon? It is totally super easy, if you host your own site.  Just create a 57×57px icon, save it as, “apple-touch-icon.png”, and upload it into the root directory of your site.  You don’t have to add the glare, the magic of iPhone does it for you.  Then when people navigate to your blog and hit the “+” to add you to their home screen, your icon will be right there smiling back at them.  Nice!  If none of this makes sense because you don’ t host your own site, have no fear…you can still have an iPhone icon, it will just be a baby screen shot of your blog. But hey,  it’s still worth telling people about.  Unless you are Zach Morris, who doesn’t have an iPhone…
